THIS IS GOING TO BLOW YOUR MIND …..

On the TWELFTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS …..

This is created by Rachelle Sigurdson
(I have to say when she showed me I was IN AWE for days)
There is so much to see and she has done so many photos for you all to see
SO ……… are you ready ?

Hello, I am here to share with you today a Christmas project, using
the Beautiful Photo Carousel, plus many other  Dusty Attic Products!!!

The photo Carousel is made out of wood & it is solid. The Carousel turns, as well as the photo’s,so you can scrap 10 different photos. I decided to do a winter,Christmas Carousel & use mostly the Maja Design die cuts, from the Vintage Frost Basics collection. However I really enjoyed working with this,so I plan to do another with photos!!!!

Here are some closeups of detail:

I did the same design on each of the photo spots, matching 2 photos together. I did some hand stitching & some distressed layers. I did some stencil work under the ATC frame, using the prima gate stencil upside down.I left some of the chipboard raw & the rest I used either picket fence crackle,or texture effects….
These turn, there are scrapped photos behind…..
The lattice part is solid,so it does not turn…..
Now for the challenging part,it does not have to be challenging, but I made it so, by making this winter Christmas theme on top. The hardest part is to make sure all sides look good,as there is no backside. So it really got filled in by covering up spots.
I put three trees together,so that as you turn the carousel, you would have a good view of it.
The top of the carousel ends where you see the flourish,in between the mail box & wintertime.
I made a stage to hold the trees, dress forms, rocking chairs & presents. For the stage I used a old round box,put a doily on top,the wrapped it with burlap trim, made burlap bows, added beads to the bows, then a tiny silver rose on to the center of the bows. Under the trees you can also see a DA doily peeking out….
For the floor I used the cobblestone panel. I used rock candy crackle on the cobblestone, placed the stone in a thick amount of texture effects. Once that dried I sprayed it with a acrylic sealer, then sprinkled on some rock candy glitter while the sealer was still wet….
Thank you so much for taking the time to look….Rachelle
