Shutters – Tina Dalton

I was so excited when I got my latest Dusty Attic design team pack and it
contained this awesome large ( 12 x 12 ) shutter, They have always had the
smaller version but this is just awesome and I of course couldnt wait to have
a play and see what I could create with it. I decided not to use it on a layout
but to connect the shutters with some hinges and create it so as
I could stand it up as a show piece.

I painted it white and then used my sandpaper to roughen it up to give it the old
 worn/Shabby look, I also used a Dusty Attic Birdcage #5 – DA 0678, which I
moulded so it had some shape to it and added some liquid scrap dots to
it to keep it raised I also  added to the front of the cage a Mini Cherish word
– DA 0428. I used the Monarch Butterflies – DA 0819, and the
Vine Border – DA 0459 to decorate the side shutters.

I loved to create this and it looks a real treat sitting on my sideboard.
Happy scrapping and thanks for looking.

Would it be nice to have finely decorated windows and stylish custom home shutters. It protects and beautify your home.
