Hello all. Today I am sharing another page with photos of my youngest Daughter with you using the sweet pastel colors of the July Moodboard from Dusty Attic. I used papers from AB Studio, Love comes Again, Angel’s Heaven and Ocean of Kisses from the So much Love collection. I punched and handstitched the edges of the multi layers trying to incorporate all the lovely colours.
Technique wise I did not do much this time. Reason is I bought a new product and wanted to try it out without to much fussing. So after Gesso on the chipboard I coloured them with Cosmic Shimmer’s Matt Chalk polish. It’s an interesting textured product, I would describe it being like Putty, and it gives a real lovely Matt coverage on the chipboard. Easy to apply with either a sponge or paintbrush. I used the colors Aqua, Antique Rose and Custard on the various pieces. On the little Frangipani Blooms I used a sponge for the Custard Color and a Paintbrush for the Antique Rose in the inside. I also tried my hand with the Distressed Gilded Foundry Wax from Tim Holtz on the Leafy Corner and Spring Blooms.
A sprinkle of Rose Gold Glitter, Flowers, Lace Flowers and some Fussy cut elements and the page was done.
