You and Me – Joanne Bain – Mood Board Inspiration

Hi Everyone!!
Joanne here today sharing my latest creation created for the gorgeous Dusty Attic September Mood Board Challenge. The challenge has an amazing prize of a $100 Dusty Attic Gift Voucher for the winner and to enter you simply need to use the Mood Board for Inspiration, you can interpret it anyway you like. The only requirement is that Dusty Attic chipboard is used in your creation. Once completed simply add your link to the right side bar of the Dusty Attic Blog.
So this is the September Mood Board.

Love, love, love this months moodboard! It was so inspiring to me! I love the weathered texture and the mix of colours. This would be one of my favourite colour combos.
Anyways this is my interpretation of the board.
‘You & Me’
I wanted to add lots of texture to my page, to create this layered some torn paper strips, micro beads, coloured cotton thread and torn natural cheesecloth fabric. I think it help soften the page a little.
I water distressed the Seagrass chipboard that sits behind my photo but only inked the top as I wanted the natural colour of the chipboard to show through.

There are lots of layers of Dusty chipboard, this was all given a really good inking with Prim Chalk Edger Dark Bark.
I have once again used my most favourite chipboard piece which is the ATC frame. These are normally oval in shape but when given a bit of a stretch they make the perfect circular frame.
