Hello Dusty Attic and Blogland friends….
Today I share my second DT project for 2019 with you all. I decided to use this dreamy looking photo of my Daughter Chantelle for this Lay-out. The sentiment from the Prima paper range Vintage Emporium is exactly my wish for her for this Year…Hoping that she may also realise some of her Dreams, or at least be at peace with where she is and where she might be going in Life….
Using three sheets from the Prima pack, I did some punching, hand-stitching and stencilling on the background.
I used the Leaves #3 Stencil with Embossing Paste and heat embossed them with Cafe au Lait embossing Powder from Lindy’s Stampgang.
The chipboard Frames were Gesso’d, and also embossed with the Lindy’s Embossing Powder. I sprayed them with Lilac Chalk Spray by 13Arts and heat them again…this results in the spray mixing into the Embossing. The longer you heat, the more the ink will mix in the Embossing leaving a faint colouring. I did two coats of Inking and also sealed the ink with a layer of clear embossing.
I did not like the golden colour of the Bamboo sticks, therefor I gesso’d them and embossed with Perissa Embossing Powder from WOW. The Foliage leaves were also embossed with the same Powder.
For texture and interest I added Builders Tape and Gauss coloured with Cocklebells Coral spray form Lindy’s. Also some Minnie Pearls Prills.
I hope you enjoyed my rather Shabby Chic page for this month….
