This project was a nod to the Comedy Horror series, Wednesday, that Netflix released in 2022. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did and it inspired me to create this piece.
Stencil DA3576 (yet to be released) was used to apply texture to the sides of the canvas. The bricks are a great sized small brick and the stencil is a welcome addition to my stash.
DA2871 Brick Wall Border was painted and gritty texture added.
DA3561 Alice elements #16 crooked branches, and DA1344 – Lace Border #3 as the balcony were also painted and waxed.
DA3117 – Zombie hands, DA3093 skull and bats and DA2224 Mini spiders were also painted and attached. The zombie hands set was great to create Thing!
I used DA0861 Alpha Set upper to spell out Nevermore Academy that was painted and glossed and attached around my fake stained glass window.
