Lynette here, welcome to the blog today. I have the pleasure of sharing some inspiration for April. This magical photo was taken while we were camping this last summer. This story just needed to be told with a large photo.

Wordpl@y #11 Some close up details of my process: ![]() I knew I wanted to use a very large photo and ended up printing it at 10,5 inches high and 6,5 inches wide. I heat embossed the Title in gold and the lanterns in white embossing powder. ![]() I painted the tree, the gnomes and the fire with acrylic paint and when it was done I found that it was just too bright. I then watered down white acrylic paint and gave everything a wash. The tree was first added to the page and then the excess was cut off. ![]() We were camping next to the river with large trees and that inspired bringing the tree and the lanterns onto the little scene. ![]() We always have a fire going when we camp. The photo is just so magical that I thought the gnomes would be a perfect addition. ![]() I completed the page by adding the Wordpl@y phrases and I heat embossed tiny wood veneer stars with gold embossing powder. |
I love it when another memory is documented.
