Lifehouse – Joanne Bain

Hi all!!
Back again sharing another page using some gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard. Most of my pages of late have had a brown toning to them and that is because I am making a wedding album as a gift and am trying to keeping my pages quiet neutral with splashes of colour, so once again this is brown, but has splashes of red, orange, yellow and gold.
“Lifehouse”

For this page I have used the 2 smaller lighthouses from Lighthouse #2 as the main feature element to the page and on top I have placed a single cluster of flowers. I have then added the larger Lighthouse from the set to background sideways and have the top just peeping out the side. I wanted to try and use them for something other then a beachy type page.
I made the already small Old Wooden Fence even smaller by cutting the palings in half and then added added a string of  Mini Birds On A Wire to the top…they are super cute!
I love adding lots of texture to my pages so I added texture paste to most of the chippy pieces, I added lots of texture to the background and for added interest I added lots of contrasting assorted thread to help frame my photo. I have used the larger chipboard string frame but cut just one side and pulled it around to make the string frame smaller to suit the size I required.
I created quiet a washed background using multiple colours. I have used Dusty Colours Bisque, Gingernut, Sunshine, Sunburst Orange & Vintage Gold. I than added a sprinkling of bling and mini seagulls to finish the page.
