Joanne Bain …….

Good Morning everyone
Joanne has two projects up today to share with you today, hope you can all find some time to scrap/create this busy time of year.
Joanne here today sharing my latest project using some gorgeous Dusty Attic chippy. I played around with some black paint for this one to see where it led me and this is what I come up with.
‘The Ultimate Photo’

I used Dusty In Colour Soot as my base paint. I added some paint to water in a mister bottle to create my own mist.
Once you mist with black you just have to go with where ever it chooses to land 🙂
I so love the Flutterbies they are a new fav of mine for sure.
I have used a syringe with black paint to create my paint runs. I find this great because they go exactly where I want them to go.

The December Mood Board.
Sharing my latest creation created for the December Dusty Attic Mood Board Challenge. The challenge has an amazing prize of a $100 Dusty Attic Gift Voucher for the winner and to enter you simply need to use the Mood Board for Inspiration, you can interpret it anyway you like. The only requirement is that Dusty Attic chipboard is used in your creation. Once completed simply add your link to the right side bar of the Dusty Attic Blog.
I was mainly inspired by the colours and the different textures shown in the image.
‘Happy Go Lucky’
I didn’t really do a lot to the chippy for this one. I gave it all a really good coat of white gesso and then gave it a light wash of Dusty In Colour Forrest.
I again created extra dimension from the chipboard by wetting and pulling apart. Once it is painted with gesso it becomes really strong and rigid and keeps its shape perfectly.
Loving the new dusty Mini Caption titles they are just the perfect size.
I have used Dusty Mini ATC frames to frame my photo and then added lots of micro beads and cotton for extra texture.
