Hello Dusty Attic Fans!
Lynette here, welcome to the blog today. I am sharing my take on the June 2021 moodboard. The bright colours of the mood board makes me happy and my daughter-in-law is always exudes happiness so this was perfect to capture that happiness.
The Mood board:
The Dusty Attic chipboard used for this project:
Happiness blooms from withingThe paper collection I used had all the happy bright colours that I wanted. I muted it with adding some white texture paste through a stencil.
I added a white doily and vellum behind my photo to add texture and also to give definition to the clusters that I was planning on adding.
I painted the frame with a mixture of blue and purple acrylic paint. The foliage was also painted with the same paint and then I added a touch of green to the leaves.
I heat embossed the title chipboard with white embossing powder
I used some fussy cut flowers and leaves for my two clusters and stamped some florals in black and white to bring contrast to the page.
I love how the painted frame and leaves and the black and white stamped images form a contrast on this page. The patterned floral paper is a perfect match to Nadia’s dress.
I love all the texture and dimension.
