December 2016

Well, the end of the year is fast approaching, what a great year we have all had. Everyone is busy busy busy getting ready for Christmas and the end of the school year, its all so exciting.

There are three NEW “Creative Layers” CHIPPY DESIGNS FOR CHRISTMAS 
I showed one on the blog the other day, but this one is a favorite of mine with his cute little nose and buttons and that hat, its all so cute and we don’t even get snow in Perth!

Now to announce the winner of the November Mood Board….


Torsa Saha’s Altered Canvas, the team where all in awe of everyone’s entries yet again, and it made the voting very hard.

December’s mood board may take you by surprise because we haven’t gone the whole “traditional” red and green, Christmas theme line, instead it is this beautiful rich purple pallet with a stunning message to just be “your own kind of beautiful” because we all are ! Hello, today I would like to share with you, a LO I did, using Dusty Attic’s Mood Board for December….

To enter all you need to do, is use the Mood Board for Inspiration,  you can interpret it anyway you like. The only requirement is that Dusty Attic chipboard is used in your creation. Here are some close ups…
I primed all of the chipboard with clear gesso, then applied clear crackle on to some of the pieces. Once the crackle dried I painted all the chipboard with the DA Storm Cloud. The last step was to randomly paint the pieces with LuminArt Silk Wine & Roses & Wisteria…..
I cut the small Trellis & glued it to the circle frames & Vintage Frame # 2. Here are a few more close ups……
