A captured moment – Anguree Van Rensburg – Mood Board Inspiration

Hello dear Dusty friends

It’s Anguree here with you and today I am sharing my take on our stunning Moodboard Challenge.

I just love this Moodboard with all those beautiful bright colours combined into one image.

I started of by selecting background paper from 49And Market’s earlier collections, A Moment in Time.

As you may have realised I totally fell in love with these Juliette Balcony and window chippies and wanted to use it in combination with these damask pieces. You will note I cut the original chipboard in half to have two similar pieces and coloured it all with 13@rts Chalk Spray inks.

I love to use flowers, so I selected these flowers from 49 And Market to match the colours of the moodboard.

I felt that I need to add more of the blue and orange in the moodboard and choose to add these chipboard flowers, which I inked with Distress Oxide Broken China.

To make the title and small leaves pop, I used a combination of Distress Oxide Ink including  Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral.

Last but not least I added mixed media products from 13@rts. I dry brushed my flowers and splattered everything  with white gesso to blend in with the rest of the layout.
