Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing my April design team project with you using some beautiful Dusty Attic Chipboard. These are photos of my daughter, I took a few years ago. I used the beautiful Mintay collection Life Stories.
Here is my layout.
To create a mixed media background, I used a stencil with modelling paste. I then used a bingo clear stamp and Distress Oxides to add colour to the background.
The next step was to colour the chipboard pieces. Here are some close-ups.
The title, clockworks and foliage were coloured similarly. I used Americana acrylic paint in Green Mist and Ochre and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.
For the industrial globes is used Americana acrylic paint in Gray and Ochre and embossed with clear embossing powder.
Some more close-ups.
When everything was glued down I added microbeads and made splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.
These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.
