Mood Board Inspiration

with all my Heart – Adri Du Preez

 Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful October mood board. I am again using photos of my daughter’s maternity shoot. They had a wonderful photographer who allowed me to share some ideas which I found on
Pinterest with her.
I love these photos of my daughter and it warms my heart every time I look at them.  I changed the colour cast of the photos to sepia to match the mood board.
Here is the mood board.

Here is my layout.

I found this story book in one of our local bookstores. The title of the book is “Guess how much I love you…” by Sam McBratney and I answered with the beautiful title “with all my heart.”

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso.
I painted the title with Americana Acrylic paint in Whispering Turquoise, Open water and White for an ombre effect.  The bracket was painted with Whispering Turqoise.

The leaves were heat embossed with Ranger’s white embossing powder.

I heat embossed this beautiful Wrought Iron Trim set with Zing embossing powder in Powder.

I painted the flutterbies with Americana Acrylic paint in Blueberry water and dry brushed the edges with Whispering Turquoise and white acrylic paint.

The Tea Leaves and foliage #23 were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Green Mist, Hauser Light Green and dry brushes with white acrylic paint. All the chippies were lightly rubbed with Art Alchemy Metallique wax in Vintage Gold.

Some close ups.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used.
