Mood Board Inspiration

Treasure the little moments – Adri Du Preez

Hello everyone!
Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful February mood board.  For this layout, I used the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Color in Sage.
Here is the mood board.

and here is my layout.

I first covered the Stump and grass, paddock fence, grass clusters #1 and #2 with clear gesso, and then Distress Oxide in Black Soot, Walnut Stain, Iced Spruce, and Mowed Lawn. Press the four Distress Oxide Ink pads onto a craft mat and spritz with water creating small droplets.  I started with Walnut Stain for the base color and slid the chippies through the droplets a few times and dry with a heat tool. Repeat with all the colors and dry in between. I also splattered the chippies with the same colors for a mottled effect.

The cog frame, cogs, and gears were painted with black gesso. Next, I painted them with Americana Acrylic paint in Burnt Umber, Georgia Clay, and True Ochre, and then dry brushed with white gesso.

Foliage #10 was painted with white acrylic paint.

For the ombre effect on the title, I used Americana Acrylic paint in Mint Julep Green and Arbor Green.

The final touches to this layout included art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
Dusty Attic products used.
