Hello everyone! Here is my layout inspired by the May mood board which features beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. This is my husband and three beautiful grandchildren. Here is the mood board.
and here is my layout.
The title is perfect for this layout and it was indeed a perfect moment. I kept the title raw.
The jumbo cogs and cog frame were first covered with cleared gesso. To colour the cogs I used Art Alchemy liquid acrylic in Burn Sienna, Ink Black, and Umber. With a paintbrush, I added the three colours, sprayed them with water, and dry in between with a heat tool. I dry brushed the edges with white acrylic paint and then rubbed the cogs with Distress Glaze for some shine. I also added elements from the Wordpl@y #2 set and Mini Tabs #5
I first covered the seed pods with clear gesso and then Distress Oxide in Iced Spruce and Frayed Burlap. Press the two Distress Oxide Ink pads onto a craft mat and spritz them with water creating small droplets. I then slid the chippies through the droplets a few times and dry with a heat tool. I also splattered the chippies with the same colors for a mottled effect.
Foliage #14 was also left raw. Foliage #10 was first covered with white gesso and then painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Coral and dry brushed with white gesso.
After everything was glued down, I added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso. Dusty Attic products used.
