Mood Board Inspiration

Making Memories – Patricia Basson

Today I am sharing a page for the Dusty Attic Moodboard using a photo of me and the two girls…I used papers from the Lost in Time collection from Craft O Clock.

The paper is so beautiful with the colors matching the Moodboard, I did not need to add too much to it. I only used a Stencil and some Metallic Gold Studio 490 Embossing Paste to add a little texture and glitz.

I used some Prima Resin Mold Frames. They were painted with Rust effect Pastes Brown and Olive Green and Waxes Red Amber and Sage Leaves.
I embossed the Square Frame with Lindy’s embossing powder, Cleopatra’s Copper and the Honeycomb Broken Bits with Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes Red Blaze.

On the Foliage Cluster I also used the Gilding Flakes. After Gesso’ing the Lacey Heart Frame and Fancy Trim, I added Crackle Paste. Once dry I painted with Lindy’s Stampgang Sprays, Red Hot Poker Orange and Cattail Copper Brown. I painted the Small Daisies Flowers with white Acrylic Paint and also with the Lindy’s Sprays. I punched stamens for the center and added a half Gemstone as well.

The embossing did not seem to ‘stick’ to the gesso on the Leaves and gave a running effect that I find very interesting and gorgeously distressed…

On the Decorative Frame I used the Cattail Copper Brown Spray and on the Word Disk the Red Hot Poker Orange.

There is still heaps of time to enter the Mood Board challenge yourself for a chance to win one of two $50 Credits to the Dusty Attic website. Here is where you can add your creations at the Dusty FANattics Group.
These and more are available from the Dusty Attic on-line Store.
