Lovely – MIchelle Van Oudshoorn – Mood Board Inspiration

Hello Dusty Attic fans

Welcome to a new month at Dusty Attic and another gorgeous  moodboard challenge for February – and these absolutely, gorgeous colours!

Aren’t these colours just gorgeous???

And here is my take on the February Challenge:

The two papers are from 49 and Market – the base is from the Winters Edge Collection and the reverse side of the Frolic paper and the distressed page is from the Captured Adventures Collection using the Wander Aimlessly paper. I first placed my Dusty Attic chipboard pieces so that I could gauge where I wanted to add my stencilling. I used the Gabrielle Pollacco 6×6 manic stencil and texture paste for the backgound. I used a Tim Holtz Distress Stain antique linen and rubbed this over the stencilling, and then splattered some dark gray ink randomly over the page.

The Dusty Attic chipboard is painted with Dusty Attic paints (I have combined a blue and green to create the darker green colour) – and then lightly brushed over the chipboard with gold – to take on the mood of the “fire” in the moodboard. I have also randomly stamped on the page. I have used some journal cards and the tickets from from the Mintay Winterlust Collection #6 paper, and the compass from the elements paper.

The foliage #14 chipboard has been cut to add under the flowers. Once I assembled the page I then combined some Tim Holtz distress stain Weathered Wood and Bundled Sage and watered this down and using a paint brush dabbed some of this watered down in around the outline of the chipboard to pop the chipboard feature.

These are the Dusty Attic Products I used:

Check out the inspiration from the rest of the team, and to take part in the monthly challenge.

Till next time and happy scrapping.
