I am sharing my July design team layout with you. This is my little granddaughter, only a few days old and having her first photo shoot. There is just something about a fresh new baby. I fell in love with this little cutie, not something I was expecting at my age, not that I am that old, but I was deliciously, deliriously happy. I was nervous about meeting my grandchild for the first time, but the moment I held her in my arms and her tiny fist tightened round my finger, I was lost. It was love at first sight.

This is how I treated the chipboard pieces.
I covered this beautiful Baroque Frame Set with white gesso and Finnabair Vintage Gold and Sweet Rose Metallique Wax. I then dry brushed with white gesso again for a distressed look.
I painted the title and butterflies with two shades of acrylic paint. I covered the Foliage with green acrylic paint. While the paint was still wet, I sprinkled Zing Metallic Green embossing power on top.
The Flower Buds are first covered with white gesso and then coloured using Versamagic dewdrop ink pads in Pink Petunia and Plumeria and Finnabair Vintage Gold Metallique wax.
