Anat here, with my first project for June – an Altered Hamsa (or Hand of Fatima).
“The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa and commonly used in jewlery and wall hangings. Depicting the open right hand, used as a sign of protection providing defense against the evil eye.”
The gorgeous Baby Pendants inspired me to alter this Hamsa for a Baby room.
In this project I used chipboards, both, for the background – to support the composition, and as my focal point.
I believe you already noticed that I can’t do without one of the beautiful ATC frames it wasn’t different here! I used it in the focal point to highlight the gorgeous pendant.
