For the blue I first inked the pieces with the denim ink, then painted the piece with the whale watch blue…..I also altered the shadow flowers with the whale watch blue…..
For the darker pieces I primed them with black gesso, then painted some of the pieces with the clear crackle paint. Once the crackle dried I painted the pieces with either the Burnt Umber or the iridescent gold, then rubbed in the old silver wax to tone down the colors…..Here are a few more close ups…..
