Dream Passionaltely – Gerry Van Gent

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you a layout that I created with yummy Dusty Attic
products mixed with 49 and Market goodies. I was inspired to create a “blueish”
kind of layout because of the photos of my daughter. I also loved creating this layout
because I used one of my latest clear stamps together with Dusty Attic chipboard.
Products I used:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I treated the number plate as usual with a layer of gesso. After that I distressed by
using ink pads (colours matching the bird cage pattern).Then I used two eyelets –
I didn’t use eyelets for ages so I was happy to grab my Crop-a-Dile and make it useful :-).
The word “Cherish” is part of my latest stamp set and is perfect match/size for
the number plate chippie. I love how this embellishment turned out!
In case you are interested here are my stamps available at 49 and Market:
The “Wildflower” chipboard is amazing! I honesty was keeping that particular package
for a “special occasion” layout. However, I couldn’t keep it anymore and I had to use it.
I treated with gesso and white paint. Once all was dry I used Pearl drops (yellow and blue)
to fill in the flourish. I could paint them the colours I needed but then I wouldn’t achieve
the 3D effect.
For the mini bird cage I used Dusty in Colour “Sunshine” .
As for the “Dream Passionately” word phrase I used Dusty in Colour:
“Denim” and “Faded Denim”. The word “dream” was distressed with “Sunshine” colour.
The word “laugh” was painted (after gesso treatment) with “Faded Denim”
paint and then distressed with “Sunshine” one. The same goes for the
Elegant Swirls.
And here are two more close-up photos for you.
