Mood Board Inspiration

Days of Summer – Adri Du Preez

 Hello everyone!
Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful January mood board and stunning Dusty Attic chippies. I used an Allison Davis sketch designed for Scrapbook Generation.
James and his mommy and daddy just returned from a relaxing fun beach vacation.  It was James’s first time at the beach. They were so excited to share this new experience with him and he enjoyed every moment as you will see from the photos.
Here is the mood board.

And here is my layout.

The chippies were first covered with white gesso.
The title, seaweed, shells, and coral were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Whispering Turquoise, Desert Turquoise, Calypso Blue, and the edges were dry brushed with white gesso.

The clouds, shells, and fish were left white. Slate Grey was used to dry brush the edges of the clouds.
What is a layout without adding Mini tabs?

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used.
