Mood Board Inspiration

Daring and Strong – Adri Du Preez

Hello everyone!
Here is my layout inspired by the March mood board which features beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.
Here is the mood board.

and here is my layout.

I used a lot of industrial chipboard pieces on this layout. I cut the large frame from the Cogs Frame Set in half and glued it to the corners of my page.  One piece of the cog was leftover, which I will use for another project.

All the Industrial chipboard pieces were covered with black gesso. Next, I painted the chipboard pieces using a sponge brush and Americana Acrylic paint in Burnt Umber, Grey Storm, and Slate Grey, and then dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

Two mini captions were covered with Slate Grey and dry brushed with white acrylic

paint.  To make the captions stand out more, I glued dark gray cardstock to the back.

Some close-ups.
