Christmas Eve and Memories to cherish – Adri Du Preez

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a blessed Festive Season with your loved ones. I wish you all a happy 2020 with beautiful moments, treasured memories, and all the blessings a heart can know.

Today I am sharing two more Christmas layouts. I am sure, like me, you have hundreds of Christmas photos.

On the first layout I used a photo of my daughter that I took about 15 years ago and on the second layout I used a photo of my granddaughter I took 2 years ago in our garden with some Christmas props.

Here is my first layout.
CHRISTMAS EVE

This is one of my favourite frames and perfect for a festive layout. I covered the frame  with white gesso and Americana acrylic paint in Desert Turquoise and dry brushed with white gesso. I randomly covered the circles and stars with glossy accents and sprinkled with Stickles Fine Glitter in Platinum.

I heat embossed the Baroque Flourish with white embossing powder.

The Wordpl@y were lightly brushed with white gesso and acrylic paint.

These cute Christmas trees were painted with Americana acrylic paint in Sour Apple and dry brushed with white gesso. The stars were painted with Americana acrylic paint in Desert Turquoise.  Once dry I covered them with glossy accents and sprinkled with Stickles Fine Glitter in Platinum.

some close ups.

When everything was glued down I added gold micro beads and splatters with diluted white gesso.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.

Here is my second other layout.

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES TO CHERISH

I arranged the flowers and die cuts in the shape of a Christmas tree.

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso. I heat embossed the title and Christmas Postmark with embossing powder.

When everything was glued down I added gold micro beads and splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.
