A wonderful rich mood board. I though that I would create a layout that features the softer tones of the mood board. I have featured a beautiful photo of my grandson – Noah.
I thought I woudl create a layout using a background that had a rough textured background. I took a patterened page that featured an old design and roughly scraped white gesso from top to bottom. I left some gpas. Once dry, I took white crackle paste and scraped up and down and rough strips. Allow to dry so that the crackle paste develops a fine cracked surface.
To add colour to the page, use a variety of orange and yellow Lindy Stamp Gang sprays to add a wash of colour. Once dry, I randomly stamped on the edges of the page and with a honey comb pattern under the main layout area.
I painted the chipboard in a variety of colours that represented the moodboard colours. To add texture, I laid some colour lace underneath and laid the various different chipd board on top. Once all of the pieces have been stuck down, layer the orange diamonds underneath the main area.
Add yellow flowers and dap with a dark blue paint on the edges. Add a dap of dark denim DA paint on the edges of the wings. To finish off randomly stamp with a script stamp on the page and add gold prills in and around the embellishments. Tip with Prills – to add a rich gold texture, use the prills generously.
