Bubba Chubba Cheeks (and MORE ) – Rachelle Sigurdson
Hello, today I would like to share with you, a few LO’s I did using some of Dusty Attic’s AMAZING Chipboard pieces. The first LO, is of my granddaughter, Brynn. Jen Burns made a comment on her cheeks, “Look at those Bubba Chubba Cheeks, so that is where the title came from. I had Jennifer custom make the title, & yes she does custom make pieces, if you ever need a piece that suits your needs….

Here are some close ups
For the paper layers, I ripped pieces, then inked the edges with the Lindys-Magical-Midnight Rendezvous. I let dry then glued the pieces onto the back ground. I also painted clear gesso onto the leaves on the paper, then clear crackle, then rubbed in chalk onto the dry crackle to bring out the cracks..
I primed the chipboard pieces with black gesso, except for the word pieces. I then painted some of the pieces with the clear crackle. Once the crackle dried I played with color, for the purple-black I used the Lindys Magical-Midnight, for the gold I used LuminArt-Silk iridescent gold, for the orange I used- Silk-Spiced Pumpkin & for the burgundy color I used Silk-Terracotta Rose…
When I glued down the paper layers, I only glued down the outside edges, so I could tuck in pieces into the layers, as I did the chicken wire.
I glued scraps of the paper I was working with under the hearts…

When I took Baby Brynns photos, I went through my stash & made up this headband. I used these pieces under & over the ornate circle frame…

Gorgeous work, Rachelle. I love the way you place so many layers of paper on all your layouts. They create beautiful frames for your photos. The flower groupings in-and-of themselves are so well crafted. And, the chipboard pieces are always a wonderful addition to your designs. I love your style. TFS. ♥
