Hi Everyone Farrel here and today I am sharing another mixed media tag with you all. I have process shot so sit back and relax while to take you through on how I created this.
I had so much fun creating this tag, I have only recently discovered my new found love when I created the Christmas Tag last month and I have decided to create tags for everything now!!! lol
To start of I used the Tim Holtz large Tag Die cut out my chipboard tag. I then covered the tag using some patterned paper I found in my stash. I applied a light coverage of Gel Matte Medium (TCW) and once dried I then used TCW804 Mesh Blocks stencil with some sand texture paste.
Once the paste was dry, I then added some stamping using Black Archival Ink and a Finnabair stamp.
Then I used the 3 LSG magicals in the picture to build up my background colours. I love how the sand texture paste looks with these colours added to it.
Next I coated my Dusty Attic chipboard and a metal flower with white gesso. I did cut the Industrial Corner and the Cyclone Wire to fit the tag.
I then decided to use Finnabair’s Rust Effect Paste on the chipboard pieces and the metal flower. I also used Sepia Archival Ink to cover the ticket chipboard.
I used TCW Iridescent Gold Heavy Body Acrylic Paint on the Prima Flowers and once all the pieces were adhered, I then added some Sisal, Mica Flakes and some beads.
