Beach Life – Adri Du Preez

Hello everyone!Welcome to the blog. Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful August mood board which features beautiful Dusty Attic nautical chipboard pieces. 
This is my daughter and grandson having fun on the beach.

All the chippies were primed with white gesso.I used DecorArt Americana Acrylic Paint on all the chipboard pieces.
The ship wheel and anchor were painted with Americana Acrylic Paint in Traditional Burnt Umber, True Ochre and I dry brushed with white gesso

I painted the edges of the Old Wooden Fence, title, Wordpl@y, seagulls, lighthouse, mini skeleton fish, and driftwood in Slate Grey and Grey Storm. I inked the edges with Traditional Burnt Amber. 
The Mini Seagulls were painted Slate Grey.  The Seahorses were painted Bahama Blue and Traditional Burnt Amber.

I painted the Starfish and Mini Shells Slate Grey and dry brushed it with white acrylic paint.The urchin shells were painted Plantation Pine, Sour Apple, True Ochre, and white acrylic paint

I painted the mini jellyfish and crabs in True Ochre, Bahama Blue, and Georgia Clay and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

I painted the Ocean Elements Hauser Light Green and Bahama Blue.

Seaweed #1 was painted True Ochre, Bahama Blue, and Georgia Clay and dry brushed with white acrylic paint, and Seaweed #4 was painted Hauser Light Green and Bahama Blue.

After everything glued down I added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
