Hello Dusty Fans and welcome to my June mood board inspired mixed media project, an altered mask.
I used a cheap mask purchased from a Children’s Art and craft store and cut it up to the shape I wanted. I collaged it with some floral paper then stencilled in some paper texture paste using the Leaves Stencil DA 1492. Once dried, I added liquid watercolour paint and highlighted the paste with gold wax.
The Chipboard was painted and partially embossed with various embossing powders to give texture.
The layers were then built up with a selection of 49 and Market flowers, art stones, seed beads, clock embellishment and pearls.
