When I saw the Sketch Challenge for this month, I knew it had to be about our two and four legged kids, but there were too many photos to pic from…so I doubled it!
On the left page I used DA2411 title A girl and her dog along the left border. I also used DA2415 Paw Prints Dog, DA2417 Dogs silhouettes.
I also used the XOXO chipboard from the DA3249 Mini Caption #27.
Some simple fussy cuts from the patterned paper stuck around the page and across some photos and some white gel pen fake stitching finished off the left Layout.
Once I was happy with this layout, I just repeated it as a mirrored image for the right Layout and used all the same chipboard with the exception of the Title where I used DA2410 title A boy and his dog.
and the other doggo from the DA2417 Dog chipboard.
As mush as I love mixed media, and multi layered Scrapbook layouts, there’s something to be said about the simplicity of a double layout where I can scrap a whopping 16 of my favourite photos of my kids (including our furry ones too).
I hope this inspired you to get out your photos and stash papers and just get some simple scrapping done!
