Mood Board Inspiration

You had me at WOOF – Michelle Van Oudtshoorn

 Hello Dusty Attic fans,

I am here today with a layout created using the August moodboard.

Such beautiful colours – just love this month’s moodboard. Here is my take on it

I have started by painting all my chipboard with acrylic paint. The leaves are done in two shades of green. I then painted the fancy trim in green, and then dry-brushed yellow over it. The title is actually “you had me at meow” but I left out the meow, and improvised with using an alphabet and adding woof. I painted the title in light denim blue paint.

The fussy cut frame was added first, then the photo matted on paper. The fancy trim was added next, and from there I added the leaves – using the darker green first and adding the lighter green on top of that. Once that was done, I started layering up the fussy cut elements. I have done the same to the top right corner of the photo.
