Hi Friends and welcome back to my blog, today i am sharing a mixed media project I designed for Dusty Attic.
This is a 12 x 12 layout, using a photo of hubby and I when we visited the Grand Canyon four years ago, i so want to go back, it sure has one amazing view from every corner.
To begin with, I added texture paste to the chipboard pieces I wanted to use, heat set to dry then added layers of colour using rust paste, gold coin paint and turquoise spray
I used one of the clocks from the Skeleton clock set and added it to the centre of one of the cog frames. Tucking in two smaller cogs to the left of the clock and the nuts and bolts.

While the chipboard was drying, I added a layer of gesso, topped that with texture paste from one of my favourite stencils. I used the same mediums I used on my chipboard, and applied that to my background, I love how it turned out, and hope you do too.
