Mood Board Inspiration

Quick and Easy Card – Joanne Simons

Welcome Dusty Fanatics!
Wow!  Seriously how pretty is this months new moodboard?

I really gravitated towards the yellow which is a colour I don’t often use.

I made a quick and simple card.
I started by layering up a couple of pretty sheets of paper and then selected my chipboard pieces.
Next I laid down my broken bits #2 circles which I covered with some blue oxide ink.  I love using the oxide ink on my chipboard as it sits on top and I don’t have to gesso it.
The layered garland I added on top of my broken bits.  This was painted with some metalic paints for a bit of shimmer.
I added the tribal arrow, again painted with some shimmery paint and lastly my flower which I made from foamiran.
Very quick, very simple.  I hope I have inspired you to give the moodboard a go this month, you could win one of two Dusty Attic prize packs.  We love to see your take on it.  Give it a go! Just add your own take on the challenge in the comments section on the DUSTY FANattics face book page
