Mood Board Inspiration

My heart is full – Rikki G

Good morning how are you? Rikki here today with my take on Mays Moodboard, tell me where is the year going ? To think this time last year everything was shut down I missed my 40th because of Covid and I have to say we have been very lucky here in Western Australia, so this year I could celebrate but I really am not feeling it this year… maybe I am a little burnt out lol.

But one positive thing is my creative juices are starting to flow a little bit, they maybe slow but they are coming and this months Dusty Attic Moodboard definitely got them flowing….,,.

When in doubt fussy cut…. yes I am one of those people who lives for a great paper to fussy cut, it allows plenty of interaction between layers and with chipboard, what better than making your own original page based on some fussy cutting?

For the changes I used a cream based spray paint but I have to say it was a little bit too stark with the colours on the page so I used a Walnut Distress Oxide to tone it down a little bit.

For the title I used Dulux Grey Chalk spray paint then over the top with Distress oxide Worn Denim which  then added a little bit more of a steel grey effect.

I love using chains you would have noticed by now, I love how they can draw your eye down and around the layout and you can only use small pieces to make a huge impact.
