We all had an amazing time together and can not wait until July where we get to do it all again.
None of us remembered to get a photograph of the amazing products we had in the store at retreat though !

Head over to the DUSTY ATTIC WEBSITE  in the shop section to see some stunning ranges from Uniquely Creative, Coco Vanilla, Bee Arty, 49 and Market and Simple Stories just to name a few along with new paints and more to purchase.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a farewell to our exiting DT member Svetlana Sanochkina and thank her for all of the amazing projects she has created for us over her design team journey.

A big warm welcome  to Deb Stephens who is a Perth based amazing mixed media artist and Karan Gerber who many of you know was on the Dusty Attic DT in prior years but took a much needed break to complete her new home and is now ready to jump back onboard of the creating wagon, we can not wait to see both of your amazing creations.

Without a further ado, here is the January board and inspiration by

Today I get to reveal the JANUARY Mood Board challenge for Dusty Attic and it is just absolutely beautiful with its beach vibe and pale blues and soft browns.
Here is the Board …

and this is my INTERACTIVE 12×12 Layout

Summer time means Beach Time and this is from when my Daughter in law Nicola took Kyden with my Grandbabies Mason and Rivah one afternoon to watch the sunset and have fun just playing around.

She took a few photos which I  wanted to add to the layout so I have made a flip open interactive page to include pics of the Princess fast asleep on her mum’s lap while the boys splashed, made sand castles and had an amazing time!

I started with the Distressed Frames Large  and coloured that a sand/tan colour along with the Get Framed – Circle to match.

The COASTAL living Impact Title  ,   Designer Disc #8 Bubbly,   Arrows #3 and   Geo Tags where painted with two different shades of blue to compliment each other.
I then sponged some of the lighter blue onto the bottom of the title and the Designer Disc.

The Seagulls Mini Shells #1Mini Seagulls #1, and Mini skeleton Fish  I have painted with an array of creams and browns with a dash of pink. The Rope Knot #1 on the bottom of the frame has been inked with brown ink then I have added white highlights around the edge.

To complete my page I have added some stone art pebbles and flecks of white paint.
