A Captured Moment – Farrel Tailor – March Mood Board Inspiration

Good Morning Dusty Attic Fans!! Today I am sharing with you all my take on the March Mood Board Challenge.
For my layout, I decided to use the pink and blue tones along with some flowers.

The papers I used some oldies by Prima – Printery Collection and Almanac Collection. To create a watercolour effect, I used the smooshing technique with Distress Oxides Broken China and Tattered Rose. I also added some text stamping to the background.

I covered all my chipboard using White Gesso. For the Mini Captions #11 title piece, I used Dylusions Vanilla Custard Spray and lightly dabbed onto the chipboard with a sponge.

Here I have used Marrakesh Trellis Small and have trimmed around the outside to remove the border and covered with white gesso. Once dry, I then sprayed some Dylusions Spray Vanilla Custard and then lightly dabbed some Dylusions Paint Peony Blush using a sponge.

Next I used Iron Garnish #3 and again used the Dylusions paint Peony Blush with a small amount of white paint to tone it down a little and applied it with a sponge. I then cut the chipboard down the center to create a corner border.

To finish off the layout, I added some stitching stamps by Bo Bunny and some flowers by 49 and Market.
