HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY
What a great achievement to be still going stronger and stronger each year.
We here at Dusty HQ would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing crafting community for all your support and inspiration on creating New Releases and Designer Kits along with Retreats and now hosting an International Superstar, Antonis in September.
(*Read on, we have a super special to celebrate Our Birthday*)
Which by the way did you see that “the Boss” Jennifer Hedger put out yet another AMAZING NEW RELEASE at the end of June? All of us at Dusty HQ laugh when she says “I am just going to do a small release this time” because we all know it is just not going to be true !
(Like the time when she did over 90 IMPACT titles!)
Here are a few new designs, you can see them all on the Dusty Attic website in the New Products section
We of course needed to play with the new chippy so I have added some before and after pictures for you so that you can see how amazing they look painted, inked or embossed.

Jen – “I just had a give-a-way on my Instragram page and not everyone wins so what about a discount instead?”
Me – “Great Idea, then everyone can order what they like and get 10% off everything?”
Jen – “Nah, that’s not a present !, lets make is 20% off ALL Chipboard”
Me – “Okay, for retail customers only?”
Jen – “NOPE, for Retail AND Wholesale customers, and while we are at it Paint, Flowers and Leaves are HALF PRICE”
Me – “Alrighty then, your the Boss”

Here are some close ups…..
I did some paper layers using pieces of chipboard, corrugated paper, a doily in the layers….
I primed most of the chipboard with black gesso, then applied a thick coat of clear crackle on to some of the pieces, & once the crackle dried I dry brushed on some black gesso to remove the shine….I primed pieces of Rooster Row-BS with Clear Gesso, then glued it behind the retro frame…..I then used the retro frame to frame the Number Grid & Film strip, then glued on part of the title that I painted with white gesso & inked the edges with a black ink pad……
I altered the flowers with the DA Texture paste and with using Prills as the flower centers, I also glued Prills onto some areas of the chipboard pieces….
Here are a few more close ups….
On the frames I did some stencil work using the DA Cityscape Stencil & Texture Paste….
Thank you so much for taking the time to look, & I am looking forward to see what you come up with, with this months Mood Board……Rachelle
